Thank you for your interest in Project People Devotion!
Do you have a daily devotion for the Lord? It could be a daily prayer ritual you do, a Bible study, a reading, a ministry, etc. The purpose of a daily devotion is to worship the Lord and draw closer to Him.
In Matthew 22:37-40 Jesus tells the disciples, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.' The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.”
Where is our devotion to people? Project People Devotion gives you a chance to daily devote a small portion of your day to satisfying one of the two greatest commandments: loving your neighbor. Project People Devotion will utilize prayer templates from the Bible and take the prayer to the people. There will be a campaign to garner prayer requests from all over our community and a weekly group prayer session. Things will go from there!
This project is a long time in the making and we look forward to the participation of many. Feel free to explore the site, find out who needs prayer, submit a prayer request, and/or learn how to participate in this project!
